    Is there flexibility in consumption? Storage becomes more valuable when charging windows, PV generation or operating hours can be actively controlled.

    Is the grid connection a cost or time factor? When an upgrade is expensive, slow or difficult, storage can create strategic value.
Not automatically worthwhile

Top advice also means: declining cleanly.

If a site pays little demand charge, has a very even load profile or the battery would rarely work, storage may not be economical. That is why WERAX starts with data rather than a standard size.
